NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) Governance and Accountability Review: A Comprehensive Update
The NWSSP Governance and Accountability Review Report is now available, offering a detailed examination of the partnership's governance and accountability structures. This update is crucial for Senedd Members, as it provides transparency and insights into the partnership's operations.
In April 2025, a significant step was taken to ensure the highest standards of governance and accountability. The former Director General of Health, Social Care, and Early Years, along with the NHS Wales Chief Executive, commissioned an independent review of NWSSP's arrangements. This review aimed to identify areas for improvement and strengthen the partnership's governance framework.
Today, we are proud to publish the comprehensive report, accompanied by the Welsh Government's initial response. You can access the report and the response here: [Insert Link: https://www.gov.wales/independent-review-nhs-wales-shared-services-partnership].
