One such fan, Julie Deaton, has been a lifelong supporter of the team, following their games through the radio for years. Deaton, the executive director of the Colorado Center for the Blind, was among the first to try OneCourt's tactile broadcast technology during the Nuggets' game against Atlanta. This handheld device translates live ball movement and gameplay into vibrations beneath the user's fingertips, offering a unique and immersive experience. Deaton expressed her excitement, noting that this technology allows her to actively participate in the game, much like touching exhibits in a museum. She believes that this technology has the potential to enhance the sports experience for visually impaired fans, providing a multi-sensory experience that goes beyond sight. The Denver Nuggets, in collaboration with Ticketmaster and OneCourt, have made this technology accessible to all visually impaired fans at every home game this season. Five devices are available free of charge at each game, offering an inclusive and engaging experience for all.
