2026 Zeekr 007 GT & 007 EV: Power Boost and New Features! (2026)

The latest updates to the Zeekr 007 GT and 007 EV have just been unveiled, boasting some impressive enhancements that enthusiasts will want to explore further. With a striking maximum output of 784 horsepower, this represents a significant increase of 148 horsepower compared to its predecessor.

According to the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the details of the revamped all-electric Zeekr 007 sedan and the 007 GT station wagon have been disclosed. These models are set to be released in the second quarter of this year and will come in both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations. The electrification upgrade introduces more powerful electric motors accompanied by a cutting-edge 900V high-voltage system and the latest NVIDIA DRIVE Thor-U chip for advanced driving assistance features.

In terms of design, the updated Zeekr 007 GT largely retains the sleek look of the original model, with only subtle changes made to its dimensions: it measures 4858 mm in length, 1900 mm in width, and stands at 1460 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2925 mm. Notably, this new version offers variations in length, stretching slightly from the current model’s length of 4864 mm.

Additionally, the exterior of the updated Zeekr 007 includes minor tweaks such as newly added air vents on either side of the lower bumper. For those looking to enhance their vehicle's aesthetics, a carbon fiber kit is now available to adorn the front fascia, side skirts, and rear spoiler.

Dimensionally, the refreshed Zeekr 007 measures 4858 mm (or an optional 4880 mm)/1900 mm/1450 mm (length/width/height), featuring a wheelbase that is 7 mm shorter than its predecessor and 3 mm shorter than the current Zeekr 007.

Both the Zeekr 007 GT and 007 are equipped with stylish 19-inch and 20-inch rims, fitted with tires sized at 245/45 R19 and 255/40 R20, respectively.

When it comes to power, the RWD variant can deliver a maximum of 370 kW (496 hp), reflecting an increase of 60 kW (80 hp) over the existing output of 310 kW (416 hp). Meanwhile, the AWD version adds an additional 215 kW (288 hp) motor, culminating in a total system power of 585 kW (784 hp), which is an impressive boost of 110 kW (148 hp) from the previous 475 kW (637 hp).

Currently, the market features three trim levels for the Zeekr 007 GT, offering CLTC cruising ranges between 585 km and 825 km, with prices ranging from 202,900 to 232,900 yuan (approximately 29,200 to 33,600 USD). Conversely, the existing Zeekr 007 is available in four trims, showcasing cruising ranges from 616 km to 870 km and priced between 209,900 and 299,900 yuan (around 30,300 to 43,200 USD).

In summary, as electric vehicles continue to evolve, the updated Zeekr models showcase significant advancements in both performance and technology, making them noteworthy contenders in the growing EV market.
